Overall a good hotel but not if you're a light sleeper.

generous sized rooms, good quality beds and a nice pool

If you're a light sleeper, book elsewhere. The rooms facing the ring road are extremely loud, we were unable to sleep whilst wearing ear plugs. The shower doesn't drain the water quickly enough to keep up with the water flow, so you're standing ankle deep in water. Also, wifi is really patchy and hence annoying. Also loud night club music was played at breakfast..a bit much for that time of the day.

Good relationship quality and price

Good relationship quality and price; very clean; good location; nice pool, safe, and the staff is always ready to help; most of them are my friends now.

Only 2 things; even though the weather is very hot in Santa Cruz; the pool is very cold (I don´t know why); and the internet is very slow; probably is a problem not only in the hotel, but in the whole country.

. The breakfast was great.

The recepcionist as not simphatic/kind during the check-in at all. She was kinda rude. My room was very noisy because the hotel is by a main and busy street.

In general was very nice.

Breakfast included was very good, although it lacks bacon or sausage. Bed was excellent. Bathroom needs to update the hardware and provide wash cloth.

The building is old and tired in desperate need of a good revamp. The breakfast was terribly inadequate for a 4 star establishment. I’m not sure how they got their 4th star.

Not a hotel for several days (next to a highway and construction work ongoing)

- generally nice rooms, but next to the highway and with the ongoing construction no option to stay in case you need a hotel for several days

- construction work ongoing all days long, I had to claim via Booking.com, no actions from Las Palmas side - I had to change after 2 nights to another hotel of the hotel group, this hotel was even worse regarding the quality of the room and price quality ratio overall (dark rooms, no balcony, no sitting area, rooms direct to the highway - noisy, finally a bad 1 week (no information on Booking.com about the construction work, it's time for kind of penalty paying, it's happens already several times to me) - no English speaking person at the reception - poor breakfast buffet, no coffee machine but bad tasting instant coffee, fruit and vegetables not fresh... - far away from everything like see get seeing or restaurants (except local fast food )

Good enough

The rooms were very clean and confortable. They have an awesome breakfast! Most of the staff were very polite and accommodating. Unfortunately not all of them...

We arrived pass eleven in the morning and asked the clerk if it was possible to check in so we can go to lunch since we were starving. He said that we’d have to pay half a day to check in early. I asked if the room was ready and he said yes. Now, I can understand that if there no rooms ready, we had to wait. But mentioning some kind of hotel policy, he denied our request, even though I specifically requested to check in as early as possible because our flight was arriving in the morning. It was a similar situation with our bill with the same guy. We told him that we could produce our US passports (I hold US and Bolivian citizenships) to avoid paying the tax for nationals and he said that we couldn’t do that because we already had stated that we were Bolivian and that was that. I was perplexed by the lack of flexibility and poor customer service skills of the guy. Later I found out that it should not be a problem to present a foreigner passport and avoid paying an unnecessary tax...

Not a great location

Large, clean room with airconditioning and tv. Cleaning every day. The indoor swimming area looks very nice (even though we did not use it).

We had a room at the front and the noise of the cars in the street is really loud, even during the night. My husband had trouble sleeping (fortunately I had earplugs, but even then I could hear the noise). The breakfast was a little bit disappointing even though there were enough choices. Sometimes we had some trouble getting a taxi to the hotel because they did not want to get stuck in the traffic on the road in front of the hotel.

This property is one of the best in Santa Cruz. The staff are very well trained and attentive. German, the man who helps with the bags, parking and many other duties is an absolute gem. The young lady on reception is very efficient and helpful. The facilities are clean and very well maintained.
